Crepidomanes Auriculatum - Ryan Hoagland
Crepidomanes Auriculatum is a rare, intermediate care, aquatic micro fern that does well in most aquarium conditions. C. Auriculatum is a tiny subtropical fern that is naturally terrestrial but adapts well to submerged conditions. We have been growing this awesome little fern submerged for many years with great success.
Our C. Auriculatum is grown submerged in low-tech shrimp tanks. Only super-healthy, bright green cuttings will be harvested and shipped directly to customers.
Typical portions will be an individual rooted plant (about the size of a nickel to a quarter), which will be more than enough to start propagating your own beautiful piece. We do not sell large clumps or pre-made containers of moss because these typically do not adapt as well to new tank parameters.
How to grow: We recommend you tie your new micro fern to a piece of porous hardscape such as coconut shell or driftwood, or you can root the plant directly in an aquasoil substrate. This can also be tied to a moss ledge with the thin roots dangling below where new baby ferns will bud.
Disclaimer: All plants or moss may contain baby shrimp or snails.
All Ryan Hoagland products will be shipped from his facility in Indiana. Therefore they must be purchased in a separate transaction using the Ryan Hoagland shipping options. Moss ships on Monday and Tuesdays.
